MadLettuce Content Management (CMS) Based Websites
CMS, not to be confused with any high street stores like M&S or C&A, is a Content Management System. It is a system which we set up for you to manage the content of your website yourself without the need of a web designer or programmer.
Its not that we're lazy, it's just that we know the value of having a website where from any computer with internet access you can just log on and change your prices, add a special offer, add a blog entry or add a new page. All of this without having any knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, ELO or MySQL.

After putting various CMS packages into a cage, locking the gate and giving it a good shake up and down, only one CMS package survived having beaten the rest in hand-to-hand combat until death or submission. That heroic winner had a name. And that name was PyroCMS. It's like wordpress for grown-ups. Joomla on steroids. PyroCMS allows a lot more customisation. We can make more widgets than you can shake a stick at and plug in just about anything including shopping carts, XML feeds, social media gateways, RSS feeds, databases, blogs and hairdryers. If the SAS used a CMS system, they would use PyroCMS.*
We are not in the SAS but we do use PyroCMS, in fact we like it so much we built this website using PyroCMS.
Need a cheap website? The MadLettuce CMS package is just 150EUR or 150GBP per year for your domain name, hosting, a PyroCMS site, configuring it all to work and a bit of hand holding to get you going.
Case Study: Spanish Company Formation.com
Using a basic, modified template we gave the client a simple, cheap yet effective website for just 150GBP. It looks efficient yet has no graphics incorporated, keeping the overall spend down. To check out how successful the SEO is on this simple site are just type into google: "spanish company formation" and see where it appears. Not bad for a 150quid site on some very lucrative search terms.
Case Study: English Express Online.com
Using PyroCMS we did some simple graphics for this English Language School which wanted to portray their simplicity and efficiency on a low budget. We incorporated social media links for them (to 'like' the page in Facebook, Digg, MySpace etc) and also had a feed for their Twitter account built in so their Tweets update onto the website. The site also has a registration form for their mailing lists and a private logon area for students to access materials. We incorporated Google analytics to view visitor trends and plugged in Google Adsense (the ugly adverts at the bottom) to help these guys make a few quid when people click their adverts. Not bad for under 400 quid!
Sounds good. I'd like a CMS based website from MadLettuce please!
Well that makes sense. We can meet up at our offices in the Coventry and Warwickshire area then go for a beer to discuss your needs. All we ask is that you pay the tab. Or you could click the link below and send us a message via our contact page.
*The SAS reserve the right to use any CMS package they choose. Infact they're so hard they reserve the right to do pretty much anything they like.
